His credits span Netflix, Hulu, Disney, and beyond, with standout work including the action-comedy Mafia Mamma (Bleecker Street) and the comedy-drama Big Time Adolescence (Neon/Hulu), which premiered in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
A member of the Television Academy, Waldemar has brought his distinctive editorial voice to acclaimed series including Gentefied (Netflix) and Fantasy Island (FOX). His most recent work is Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated Bad Thoughts (Netflix).
Beyond the edit bay, Waldemar is committed to nurturing the next generation of filmmakers. He serves as a fellowship advisor for the Latino Film Institute, LALIFF, and Rideback Rise. He has also taught at the university level and spent several years as an editor at the Sundance Directors Lab, working directly with emerging independent filmmakers to develop their craft.
